For several years, Syrian refugees have come to Chicago. Upon arrival, the Syrian Community Network (SCN) helps them start their new lives. With chapters also in San Diego, Phoenix, and Atlanta, SCN serves over 3,000 people, nationally. “Lost and Guided” is a play that tells the story of four Syrian refugees. Created by the Angle Project, a New York theater company, 90 percent of the script is based on interviews with Syrian refugees. We’ll hear about an upcoming reading of the play at Chicago’s Goodman Theater. Proceeds will help support the Syrian Community Network.
