A group of Latin American scholars and professors have sent out a letter to media outlets across the United States addressing the media's portrayal of Bolivia, Ecuador and Venezuela in relation to the Edward Snowden case. Steve Striffler, the Doris Zemurray Stone Chair in Latin American Studies and a professor of anthropology and geography at the University of New Orleans, is one of the authors of the letter. He tells us what he thinks the media has gotten wrong. (Photo: AP Images).
