The U.S. says torture report makes clear Assad must go
A report released earlier this week claimed that the Assad regime has tortured 11,000 prisoners. The report was put out just as peace talks, which are currently underway in Switzerland, were about to begin. Dan Murphy, a senior editor at the Christian Science Monitor, says although the report makes credible claims, it “warrants a careful read.” We’ll talk with Dan about the the ongoing peace talks and the way the Syrian conflict gets covered by the media.
