Twenty-first century cities must defend against a number of potentially catastrophic events: cyber and terrorist attacks, disease outbreak and natural disasters.
We ask a panel of experts how we can prevent man-made disasters and prepare for natural ones:
- R. David Paulison, former head of FEMA and senior partner at Global Emergency Solutions
- Megan Clifford, director of Strategy and Innovation for the Global Security Sciences Division at Argonne National Laboratory
- Cesar Cerrudo, pis a professional hacker and Chief Technology Officer at IOActive Labs
In June, Paulison and Clifford will join an international panel on these issues at the Chicago Forum on Global Cities.
