As Ukraine celebrates 25 years of independence from the former Soviet Union, the country has been split by two years of war along its eastern border.
Although there is currently a fragile and spotty ceasefire in place in the region of Donbas, both the Ukrainian military and Russian-supported rebels accuse the other of violations.
