As fighting on Ukraine’s eastern border continues, there are ongoing movements to rebuild vital institutions within the country and challenge corruption within the new government. Julian Hayda, a member of Group for Tomorrow’s Ukraine, an organization of Ukrainian-American students who are reporting and documenting events in Ukraine joins us to talk about what the Ukrainian American community is doing. Marta Farion, an attorney and president of Kyiv Mohyla Foundation of America, a non-profit, non-governmental organization established to support the National University of Kyiv Mohyla Academy, also joins us to talk about the future of Ukraine.
