As President Barack Obama moves to rally support for the P5 + 1 nuclear deal struck with Iran, his efforts may have been set back as New York Democratic Senator, Chuck Schumer, announced that he would not support the accord. The deal will require strong democratic support to uphold a veto by Mr. Obama to override expected rejection by the Republican controlled Congress. U.S. Energy Secretary, Ernest Moniz, joins us to discuss the science behind the deal, the negotiation process and his thoughts on objections expressed by Mr. Obama’s opponents and allies.
