The conflict between Ukraine’s new government and pro-Russia rebels has become a hot war. Armed Pro-Russian forces attacked a Ukrainian Army convoy on Tuesday afternoon. The clash left six Ukrainian soldiers dead and eight wounded, according to Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense. A rebel commander in Slovyansk was killed and two militiamen were wounded. Rebel reports claimed killings up to 30 Ukrainian soldiers. We’ll discuss the situation with Dr. Bohdan Vitvitsky, a political philosopher, former U.S. attorney at the Justice Department and former legal advisor to the U.S. embassy in Ukraine.
