Weekend Passport: A Concert Uses Music To Call For Peace

Each week global citizen Nari Safavi joins us to help listeners plan their global weekend.

This week we get a preview of “Requiem for Peace,” a piece that includes text in 13 languages and text from many war torn countries. It will be performed by the North Shore Choral Society.

Julia Davids, music director for North Shore Choral Society and Larry Nickel, the composer of “Requiem for Peace” join Nari to talk about the music and Saturday's performance.
