Weekend Passport: Local Puerto Ricans Mark Feast of Three Kings with Parade
After Christmas and Easter, Epiphany is one of the greatest feasts in the Christian calendar. In Latin-American countries the holiday honors the Three Kings who visited Jesus in the manger, and is often the period of great winter festivals and gift-giving. The Puerto Rican Cultural Center of Chicago is marking the holiday with a parade down Division Street. Joining us is Jose Elias Lopez, a leader in the Puerto Rican community to discuss what this holiday means for the local community.
