The magical realism of West African folktales meets the pressures of modern Chicago. It’s at that intersection that the new play Fast Food Chain finds its home. Premiering at Adventure Stage Chicago, Fast Food Chain tells the story of a brother and sister coping with food insecurity in Chicago in 2019. The two discover a garden where they least expect it, and their tale unfolds.
