After a brutal two year battle, Uber is finally throwing in the towel in China. 

The ride-sharing giant sold its remaining market share to rival Didi, following a $2 billion loss. While Uber continues to be the highest valued startup in history, its stumble in Asia raises a red flag to foreign investor strategies going forward.
