The documentary Whose Streets? utilizes “recollections, phone footage, social media posts and present-day testimony” to tell the tragic story of the aftermath of Michael Brown’s murder. Brown, an unarmed black man, was killed by a Ferguson, Missouri police officer.
WBEZ film contributor Milos Stehlik joins us to interview filmmakers Sabaah Folayan and Damon Davis, the co-directors of Whose Streets?. The film opens in the Chicago area August 11 at select theaters.
