World History Moment: The Glorious Revolution

On December 23, 1688 Mary II and William III, both protestants, took over the English crown. There was very little bloodshed so the shift in power is remembered as “The Glorious Revolution.” Historian John Schimdt, author of "On This Day in Chicago History," reminds us how it happened.
