President Obama is the first US president to visit Cuba since 1928. His trip has been hailed by many as the start of a new era of openness but others say it’s a mistake, given the country’s dismal record on human rights. We get analysis from Elena Diaz, social economics professor at the University of Havana and Christina Perez, associate professor of sociology at Dominican University. She’s author of the book "Caring for Them From Birth to Death: The Practice of Community-Based Cuban Medicine." Plus, Filippo Grandi, UN High Commissioner for Refugees, joins us to talk about the ongoing refugee crisis and what the future holds for the millions of people who have been displaced from their homelands.
