Shiite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr was a central figure after the 2003 U.S. led war with Iraq. Now he’s at the center of a political stalemate in Iraq. We’ll talk about the impasse with Laith Saud of DePaul University. The German comedian Jan Boehmermann is under investigation for mocking Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan. We look Boehmermann's work and the history of the German comedy scene. When the Indian government passed a law requiring school kids to have at least one hot meal, the Akshaya Patra Foundation's efforts to feed hot lunches to 1500 schoolchildren across 5 schools was born. We learn more about the project, which now feeds 1.5 million students.
