After decades in political isolation, Cuba is waking up to the modern world, ready to welcome international tourists with its lively music, historic architecture and vibrant nightlife.

As part of PBS’s “Summer Adventure Initiative,” WTTW’s Geoffrey Baer spent time exploring Cuba to give a glimpse into a country that has been off-limits to Americans for 50 years. Worldview talks to Baer about his new documentary Weekend in Havana.
