2019 marks 25 years for Worldview. To celebrate, we’ve brought you selections from our deep and rich archives, and also conversations with the people who made the show happen every day. Today, we’re joined by Worldview former producer Tom Gaulkin. He co-produced the show from 1999-2002 and in 2006. Tom currently serves as multimedia editor for longtime Worldview partner and co-collaborator, The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists. He also has a very interesting global history. Tom’s father was a career diplomat who also served as a U.N. representative in Cyprus. Tom will reminisce with Jerome about his favorite Worldview moments, and also how working on the show and growing up in a diplomatic family impacted his perspectives on the world.
