Jared Natzke

Jared holds a Bachelor’s in History and Anthropology from Michigan State University and a Master’s in Library and Information Science from Wayne State University. This explains why he’s pretty good at trivia and why he spends far too much time looking things up on Wikipedia. He arrives at WBEZ after a long stint as a librarian and a short stint working in tv and film production.

As a longtime listener of Public Radio, he is excited to be working behind the scenes helping members to manage their accounts and request info about WBEZ. He particularly enjoys helping them track down a story they heard, a piece of music they enjoyed, or finding out “hey, what happened to that one show you used to air?”

Jared moved to Chicago from Michigan a few years ago and is enjoying exploring the city’s many neighborhoods and finding its hidden gems. He is a writer in his free time with a focus on tv, film, and comedy.
