Candace Mittel is a podcast producer for WBEZ, where she has produced Nerdette and now works on the content development team’s pilots and new projects. Before joining WBEZ in 2017, she worked at NPR’s Wait Wait... Don’t Tell Me! and How To Do Everything. Candace has also taught high school, written for the satirical women’s magazine Reductress, and has a degree in mathematics, which she used to keep this bio under the word limit.
