Mary Hall is a digital producer who most recently received her masters degree from Northwestern University, Medill School of Journalism in Social Justice and Investigative Reporting, during which time she collaborated on projects published at WBEZ, the Chicago Tribune, the Better Government Association and the Chicago Sun-Times. She also was a producer on a documentary recently accepted into the American Documentary Film Festival.

Mary was a former section editor and reporter at the Daily Journal in Kankakee, Illinois, where she managed a cross-discipline team, wrote features, produced social video and spearheaded the use of data visualization at the publication. She has won three awards from the Illinois Press Association for infographics. 
Originally from St. Louis, she lived for six years in Quito, Ecuador, speaks Spanish, and has strong opinions about South American restaurants in Chicago.
