For seven consecutive nights, the film series “Religion In the Frame” will screen movies and present scholars from the University of Chicago’s Divinity School to discuss religious ideas and themes that permeate popular film. Gretchen Helfrich, former WBEZ great and host of Odyssey, is a board member at Facets and at the University of Chicago Divinity School’s Martin Marty Center, one of the series organizers. She joins Worldview to discuss the film festival and what we can learn about religion and philosophy through film.
