Today is the 100th anniversary of Afghanistan’s independence. But weekend festivities turned tragic when an ISIS-affiliated suicide bombing killed at least 63 people at a wedding in Kabul. The attacks comes as the U.S. government and the Taliban conduct secretive peace negotiations. We’ll hear from Najla Ayoubi, a human rights lawyer and founder and executive board member of the Women’s Regional Network of Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India, about last week’s peace talks and whether the bombing changes anything.
