Marketplace entertainment correspondent Adriene Hill sits down with musician Lisa Loeb, whose song “Stay (I missed you)” was a hit in 1994, and part of the soundtrack of the movie “Reality Bites.”

Loeb is in her second act, this time as a children’s artist. Lisa Loeb’s newly album “Nursery Rhyme Parade!,” featuring classic nursery rhymes and songs, was released on Amazon Prime Music on October 16.

What’s different about playing in front of children rather than adults?

Playing in front of that many dancing children is kind of like playing for a bunch of drunk grown-ups. I remember when my song “Stay” got on the radio, and I played a lot of radio festivals, and people just wanted to hear the one song from each artist that they knew. And it was the backwards baseball caps and way too much beer from a keg, and a lot of talking during the real other songs. With kids, I’ve gotten used to it.
