The European Court of Justice has ruled that an agreement that allows for the free flowing transfer of data between the US and the EU is not valid. The agreement, known as “Safe Harbor” had been in effect for 15 years. Thousands of companies, including tech giants like Google and Facebook, have relied on the agreement to transfer information.
