In the United Kingdom, Theresa May’s conservative government faces collapse after several ministers resigned in protest after the release of the most recent Brexit deal. Although May claimed to have the support of her Cabinet, Brexit secretary, Dominic Raab, also quit his post resulting in the British pound to plunge on currency markets. With only 134 days remain until Britain’s official departure from the EU, May could face an internal leadership contest in her conservative party. Then we’ll talk about the tragedy and comedy of Brexit with with British writer and commentator, Edward Luce, U.S. columnist for the Financial Times .
