On January 7, 2015 gunmen opened fire on the Paris office of the satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo. Twelve people were killed but columnist Zineb-el-rhazoui was not in the office that day. The attack has solidified her belief in the importance of French secularism and free speech. She has stayed at her job and has since faced threats of her own on social media, ISIS supporters have called for terrorists to target her. Maps of places where she has been have been published on the internet. The most recent issue of Charlie Hebo came out on Wednesday this week. She joins us to talk about her work and the impact of the attack on her own life and on French society.
