Usually, Morning Shift and Radio M host Tony Sarabia joins us on for Global Notes to talk about music. But this time, Tony will be reviewing a film: Radio Dreams. It’s a narrative film which tells an only slightly fictional story of Afghanistan’s first rock band, Kabul Dreams, in their quest to perform with legendary rock band Metallica. 

The Chicago premiere of Radio Dreams is Friday, June 30 at Facets Cinematheque. The film runs there until July 6th.
