Chicago human rights attorney, Jim Fennerty, recently joined a delegation to Egypt that investigated the mass arrests, disappearances, killings and harsh judicial sentencing since the military government deposed president Mohamed Morsi. Fennerty was in Egypt when a court handed down a death sentence to over 700 people. His group also met with Morsi’s son. Fennerty is back from Egypt and will tell us what he observed.
