The Indian television station NDTV was supposed to air the BBC documentary India’s Daughter, on Sunday, in part to mark International Women’s Day. But the film, which contains an interview with one of the rapists from the Delhi gang rape, was banned by the government. We’ll discuss the ban and the state of violence against women in India with Shweta Singh, a professor of social work and women’s studies at Loyola University.
