More groups are issuing the call for immigration reform. Last week, Illinois’ senior senator Dick Durbin led a subcommittee hearing that’s making the call for young immigrants who qualify for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, be allowed to enter the military. Tuesday, another group of veterans are making the call for action at the panel “Defending Our Freedom: Illinois’ Immigrant Soldiers.” We talk with Brett Hunt from Veterans for Immigration Reform about what reform looks like.
