Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel is planning to meet today with President-elect Donald Trump. A mayoral spokesman says Emanuel is in New York for a series of meetings, and will sit down with Trump at 9 this morning. The two spoke on the phone a few weeks ago.

Emanuel says they talked about the presidential transition, and he stressed that Chicago would remain a sanctuary city for undocumented immigrants.
