In the 1880’s, Europeans imported hand-cranked mechanical organs into Cuba. Generations later, the art of organ making has become an important part of village life in this region. Music journalist Gianluca Tramontana travels an hour outside of Havana to tell why organ music is so popular in the Gamma region.
