Argonne National Laboratory is a massive research facility outside of Chicago that’s run by the U.S. Department of Energy.

In this episode, Tricia Bobeda and Greta Johnsen go on a good old-fashioned field trip to learn about some of the innovative things happening there. We learn about the development of new superbatteries, the processing power of the world’s biggest supercomputers and ask a few questions that may never get answered.
