Chicago is known for its restaurant scene. But often, the focus is on restaurants with celebrity chefs or eateries in the Loop.
The Chicago Tribune Food & Dining team is trying to change that. They’re focusing on the food scene on the city’s South Side for the month of June — specifically food culture and traditions of the Black community.
