New York Times columnist and human rights journalist Nicholas Kristof’s latest co-authored book is A Path Appears: Transforming Lives, Creating Opportunity. The book, written with his wife, Sheryl WuDunn, takes on global development issues such as inner-city violence, sex trafficking and malnutrition. The book is the basis for an upcoming PBS series airing in 2015. He joins us to talk about how global issues and how they connect to us. Kristof also the co-author of Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide.
