On Monday, an Islamist party office in Tripoli was attacked. The attack followed last week’s assassination of Abdelsalam al-Mosmary, a political activist and well known critic of the Muslim Brotherhood movement and the escape of about 1100 prisoners from the Kuafiya prison outside Benghazi. Violence has been on the rise in recent months as the country’s fledgling government has struggled to keep maintain security.
