Chicago Botanic Garden will host a seed swap this weekend. The event aims to teach gardeners how best to collect and save seeds. Gardeners are invited to bring saved or leftover vegetable, flower and herb seed packets to share and swap. Shannon Carmody, program manager for Seed Savers Exchange in Decorah, Iowa and Kristie Webber, director of interpretive programs at Chicago Botanic Garden explain the importance of seed conservation.
