As Kenya deals with the aftermath of separate attacks by the militant group, Al-Shabab, the group has now claimed responsibility for a suicide bombing of a United Nations convoy that killed at least four in the Somali capital of Mogadishu. Ahmed Samatar, Dean of the Institute for Global Citizenship at Macalester College, will tell us what he thinks is Al-Shabab’s strategy and what should be the appropriate response.
