Chicago Alderman Ray Lopez is hoping that speed bumps and traffic circles can help stall rising gun violence in his ward. 

Lopez says those barriers will make would-be shooters think twice about bringing their conflict to his neighborhood.

Lopez is spending about $350,000 on speed bumps and traffic circles in the Back of the Yards neighborhood.
