Tomorrow is International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day, a day that honors the friends and family members of people lost to suicide. In the U.S. more than four million people are suicide loss survivors. These survivors are often haunted by grief and other complex emotions but feel isolated by cultural perceptions of suicide. Alliance of Hope is an Evanston-based nonprofit that works online to help counsel survivors of Suicide Loss. They’re hoping to raise 50 thousand dollars to fund their organization, which is the leading online resource for survivors. Founder and Executive Director, Ronnie Walker, is joining us on the line.
