In spite of relative calm in the streets, Thailand has been a tense place since the military imposed martial law. The army executed a coup last May in the midst of widespread protests and unrest over election results. Human rights observers have documented rampant abuses by the junta. We’ll talk with T. Kumar, director for Asia and Pacific for Amnesty International-USA (AIUSA). He’ll detail what Amnesty International found in its investigation.
