Baltimore native Amy Speace started her career in the arts as a Shakespearean actor doing fringe theater in New York. A chance encounter with legendary singer Judy Collins changed everything. Collins brought her on tour and recorded one of her songs. Since then, Speace has recorded four albums and an EP, moved to Nashville, toured relentlessly, and won a mountain of critical praise. She plays cuts from her new album That Kind of Girl at a Thursday night gig at the Hideout. But before that, she’ll play live on Morning Shift
