For four years, Cubs President Theo Epstein and General Manager Jed Hoyer have been trading, picking, buying, re-trading and stocking up on young talent. This year was supposed to be the year when the Wrigley faithful would finally see the team pull themselves out of the cellar and play halfway decent ball. But the Cubs defied expectations, and have secured a shot at playoffs. The question is, with 107 years of frustration and disappointment on their minds…are Cubs fans excited about a one-game playoff?
