The European Union has ordered the internet giant Amazon to pay almost $300 million in back-taxes to Luxembourg.

Officials say Amazon has benefited from illegal tax deals for nearly a decade, and that most of the company’s profits in Europe have not been taxed. The BBC’s Alexander Griffiths has been listening in to the EU’s judgement, and brings us this report.
