We live in one of the most car centric societies on Earth but Chicago’s annual Bike Commuter Challenge is trying to chip away at that by trying to get people to think about adding a bike to their commute. The annual week-long competition starts on Friday. While Jerome would describe us at Chicago Public Media as a powerhouse, there’s stiff competition in the city of Chicago.
