The Ebola epidemic and the resulting global panic has received enormous media coverage. But many may not know that an outbreak of a different disease is also causing devastation in Africa. We’ll talk about the race to control the spread of Kala Azar (Black Fever) in South Sudan with Tim Harrison. He’s a registered nurse and volunteer with Doctors Without Borders. Harrison just returned from the region in January and is due to return this week.
