This week Bolivian president Evo Morales suffered one of his biggest political losses. Morales had hoped to get the opportunity to run for a fourth consecutive term. It was put to a referendum and the measure was voted down, by a slim majority. Morales is the country’s first indigenous president, he won large victories in previous elections but has been hit by a series of scandals in recent years. Miguel Centelles, a political sociologist at the Croft Institute at the University of Mississippi joins us to talk about the results of the referendum.
