As carjackings have increased during the pandemic, some Chicago neighborhoods are turning to private security firms to patrol their streets. Community groups in Hyde Park, Bucktown and Lincoln Park have all hired P4 Security Solutions to deploy off-duty police officers to keep watch of certain areas.
