Budget Concerns Loom As Illinois Lawmakers Cancel Veto Session

Illinois lawmakers are postponing their fall veto session, leaving the state budget and other initiatives as unfinished business.

The Illinois House and Senate won’t meet for their fall veto session due to concerns over surging COVID-19 cases across the state. The six-day legislative session was scheduled to begin next week.
